In this ground-breaking sociological study, DeMarco has collected data from male strippers, bar owners, patrons, and others to discover what makes the men and the industry tick.

Over a period of years and in seven cities in the US and Canada, DeMarco interviewed more than 160 male strippers along with a number of bar owners, workers, and patrons to complete the study. The interviews were in-depth and intensive resulting in hundreds of hours of material.
